This boutique short-course is targeted at students currently studying OR preparing to study in a NZ school. The course gives students an activity-centred programme based around a specific theme to encourage the use of the English language in everyday situations. Designed for 8 – 18 years of age.
2 weeks (25 hours contact per week), available in Term 1, 2 and 3 breaks each year only.
$440 per week (full-time) – Registration Fee is waived for students enrolling in all 3 weeks.

Caters for all ESL levels — especially Beginner, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate and offers a strong foundation for the NZ education system
The morning programme has an English Language focus.
The afternoon programme has a subject language focus for Mathematics, Science and Social Studies
There is a half-day activity once per week.
I am very happy that I choose AEI to study my Diploma programme. I have the opportunity to study with various and very supportive teachers. The environment here is sociable and many of my friends have become brothers and sisters. Besides to have the opportunity to be part of the staff that always are willing to help.

I spent 17 weeks at AEI attending the High School Preparation course. It was a great experience and I learnt some high school subjects and New Zealand culture, as well as English. The lessons were very various and useful for my next step, which is to attend a local high school. All the staff and teachers are kind, friendly and supportive. I highly recommend AEI to all who are thinking to come to New Zealand for study.
Alpha Educational Institute is a place with friendly atmosphere and good combination of studies and leisure. Facilitators are quite enthusiastic and are ready to help and to give advice. Administrative staff always come up with new ideas and organise free-time activities for students really well. It’s a pleasure to study in a place with such a nice team!
I am really enjoying the school time here at AEI, the teachers are amazing, they explain very well, and they make it simple to the students to learn and enjoy. the building as the facilities are great as well. I do recommend the school to everyone who wants to learn English.
